SOCIO-ECONOMIC OBJECTIVES

• WRO is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit humanitarian organization that touches the many dimensions of human development, such as, health, human rights, environment and poverty eradication. These are based on local needs and priorities with major focus on micro-credit .
• This organization also seeks to assist the vulnerable, marginalized and deprived in society through education and other integrated rural development programmes .
• To help the youth with simple employable skills for them to be job creators rather than job seekers and also to advocate and help the youth lead responsible lives .
• To improve the welfare and environment of young people, especially children between the ages from six to sixteen at the junior high school .
• Empower women through micro enterprise .
• Promote volunteerism and involve volunteers in programs that enable rural communities help themselves .
• Promote cultural diversity programs .
• Promote child rights and gender equality .
• Romote awareness of civic responsibilities .
